Waterair, the leader in pool kit sales, wanted to equip the 120 members of its sales team with the iPad 3 Retina and a tool at the cutting-edge of innovation: a mobile application to make their lives easier.
Our respective teams developed a mobile sales assistance application to win over its clientele of individual customers and sell better – the Watbook.
The aim was to design a very user-friendly application which perfectly addresses the needs of the brand’s staff. The initial strategy was to accompany Waterair sales staff in the field to improve ownership of their business and their constraints and issues.
While respecting Apple’s guidelines in terms of ” User Experience “, the application was developed for optimal use on Apple’s latest touchscreen tablet – the iPad 3.
This ergonomic and aesthetic application offers a rich variety of features:
- synchronisation of the CRM,
- product catalogue,
- pool and options configurator,
- customised installation plan (land registry plan or hand-drawn),
purchase order input and printing.
The brand expects to boost its sales but also reposition the brand in terms of innovation, digitalise the sales process, and create a closer bond with its customers and potential customers. The first pool was sold via Watbook on the iPad the day after the training seminar. It’s an application which offers the brand’s sales team real prospects for growth.
The launch of this business application addresses multiple challenges for our brand. First and foremost, we wanted to adapt to the new uses of both our customers, but also, and above all, our sales team. This tool, available on tablets, represents a real technological advance for us and is therefore a real competitive advantage. Thanks to the Watbook, we intend to improve our sales methods, simplify appointments and increase performance and effectiveness in the field. We did a lot in the testing phase and thought about all the possible scenarios in order to offer a reliable tool to our sellers. It is very user-friendly, easy to use and it makes day-to-day life easier for our teams, who welcomed it very warmly.
