A2C – SNCF – Sharepoint 2013 overhaul

A new collaborative portal

Context and challenges

A2C, a subsidiary of SNCF, aims to develop and enhance the network’s 3,000 stations, to sell advertising space in stations, and to handle the administrative management of occupancy contracts and advertising activities.

To assist its development, A2C wanted to give its staff a new effective, scalable and flexible extranet based on Sharepoint 2013.

Support

To ensure the success of the Intranet, SQLI Enterprise assisted A2C by addressing its objectives point by point:

  • To strengthen corporate communication
  • To improve collaborative work by developing interaction (sharing information and documents)
  • To simplify the management of content and documents through implementing workflow validations
  • To centralise the storage of information

All stages of the project were led by SQLI: from the ergonomic and graphic design to the integration, in addition to specific developments in the Sharepoint 2013 environment.

The customer view

Anne Ribadeau Dumas

To address our challenges in terms of accelerating the flow of our interactions, while taking into account the development of uses, we needed to integrate a more robust, scalable, and highly effective solution. SQLI was able to offer a tool which fully addresses our functional requirements and technical constraints. Our staff immediately adopted the new house style and are eagerly awaiting the production launch.
